Taste of South Boston Recap

I may have spent the weekend in bed with one of the worst head colds that I have had in a very long time.  However, I knew that with tickets already purchased for the Taste of South Boston on Sunday evening I had to get my act together and head out!

When my walker buddy, good friend and southie native Steph told me about this event I knew it was right I had to get my toukas too!

I will be following up this post in a few weeks with a full story on where the donations from this event go towards.  I will be touring the houses that the South Boston Neighborhood Development Corp helps to provide to working families, veterans and the elderly of South Boston.  I am really looking forward to seeing the impact and effect a night of tasting can have on the community!

Thanks to Steph, Laura & Meg for coming out!  It was such a wonderful evening and I even ran into some other local friends (Huzzah for Allie & Seth!)
